Notes: I've said it before and I'll say it again. Jerry Robinson did his best work between 1951 and 1954 for Timely. I know he was important in the development of Batman and his stories with Mort Meskin are gorgeous, but here we see a master draftsman at work, telling stories that are illustrated confidently, without shortcuts and full of real people. - Ger A.

Notes: What I like about early Pike is the amount o detail. He got very adept at drawing fast and using a few lines, but here he is still trying to prove he can draw. Not good storytelling per se, but nice to see. - Ger A.
